David has provided tax advisory and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and investment entities in the Austin, Texas community for more than two decades.

Prior to forming Plyler, Stallop & Compton, PLLC, David was a partner in an Austin CPA firm providing tax compliance and consulting services to a broad range of clients with complex federal, state, and international income tax issues.

During his seven-year tenure with KPMG he served individuals, closely held businesses, middle market and large consolidated multi-national public companies, and completed a rotational assignment with KPMG’s National Tax practice in Washington, D.C. David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master in Professional Accounting, with an emphasis in taxation, from The University of Texas at Austin.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
